KCR adopting double standard on defections: TDP

Must read

Former Shadnagar MLA Bakkani Narsimhulu has lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, accusing him of adopting double standards on party defections.
Speaking at a TDP meeting at Lingareddyguda village under Farooq Nagar mandal, Narsimhulu pointed to the inconsistency in KCR’s stance on the issue.
He recalled that KCR, when he was chief minister, had lured 15 TDP MLAs into his party. He questioned why KCR did not consider it as wrong at the time.
Addressing the media, Narsimhulu condemned KCR’s action in suppressing opposition voices. He stated that KCR is now facing the consequences of his actions. “Those who work for their own selfishness in politics will never improve, but only those who work for the people will stand,” he asserted.
Narsimhulu praised the TDP for its discipline and dedication to public service. He recalled the legacy of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) and how Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu continues to follow in his footsteps. Narsimhulu recounted various development projects undertaken during the TDP’s rule, including the construction of ITIs, CC roads, concrete buildings, schools, and welfare programs for SC communities in Lingareddyguda village.
