The BJP’s Nizamabad MP, Dharmapuri Arvind, said that the CM is conspiring to privatise the TSRTC in a tweet on Sunday.
He said that KCR was trying to destroy the livelihood of RTC workers by conspiring to privatise the TSRTC.
Arvind tweeted, “KCR — A festering wound of Telangana. Around 50,000 RTC employees went on strike during ‘Sakala Janula Samme’ to support the Telangana movement. Now their livelihoods are at stake. Today, KCR is trying to privatise the TSRTC and he is systematically erasing the TSRTC’s identity through well-planned acts which include encroachment of TSRTC properties by his own party men and encouraging private transporters on profitable routes. No one has answers to the spending of thousands of crores belonging to the employees’ PF and other TSRTC funds. No recruitment to vacancies, no new routes for passengers and no new buses on busy routes. #KCRFailedTelangana.”
