BJP state president MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that KCR’s family is conspiring to sell the TSRTC’s assets. He said that as part of that, the assets of the TSRTC are being looted in the name of leasing them out to BRS MLAs.
He said that KCR is strategically bankrupting the RTC and taking action against employees.
Sanjay gave a call to the workers of the SCCL, the electricity department and the TSRTC to fight jointly and that the BJP will stand by them.
He said that the construction of the new Secretariat symbolises the alliance between KCR and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. The Congress and the Communists are mediators in the love affair between the AIMIM and the BRS, he added.
Sanjay asked KCR to reveal why the government did not take action against MLAs who took 30 per cent cuts from Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries. He asked the BRS government to distribute the money to the beneficiaries after seizing it from the MLAs who took the bribes.
“Employees show the guts of the Telangana movement. Don’t be afraid of being prosecuted or fired. We are with you. Come out on the roads and fight. Think as if you are on a 5-month long leave if the government fires you. The BJP government will soon take charge in the State. The dismissed TSRTC employees will be reinstated immediately. A special budgetary allocation will be made to protect the TSRTC when the BJP comes to power,” Sanjay said.
An Atmeeya Sammelan of TSRTC workers was organised on Sunday at Kacheguda by the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS). Sanjay and TSPSC ex-member Ch. Vatal, BMS state leaders Rammohan, Venkat Reddy, Lakshminarayana, Manohar Rao, Swami Kumar, Shobhan and others attended the programme.
Addressing the meeting, Sanjay said, “I stand by TSRTC workers. KCR knows the guts of RTC workers. But why are you afraid? KCR’s rule is only for five more months. After that, it is the BJP that will come to power.”
He said the BRS government is blaming the TSRTC for losses and is conspiring to destroy the TSRTC and loot its assets worth Rs 1500 billion.
Sanjay said that the bus stand complex in Armoor was leased to the local MLA. Till now, the MLA has not paid the rent arrears of Rs 7 crore and is looting RTC properties by leasing them to BRS leaders. BRS thugs are pocketing the benefits but TSRTC workers are not getting anything, he said.
He said that TSRTC workers are angry with the BRS government for wrecking the corporation and not paying salaries, benefits, DA etc.
