CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is exploiting labour using the outsourcing system. The BRS government has been ignoring the Minimum Wages Board by not conducting review meetings, he said.
Addressing a meeting of unorganised workers and employees on Sunday at the Gandhi Bhavan, Bhatti said that both the BRS and BJP governments have been violating the rights of workers. The state and Central Governments have been ignoring the rights of workers and are not caring for their needs.Recalling that the Congress government had set up the Minimum Wages Board, Bhatti said that the BRS government failed to conduct even a single review meeting during its 9-year rule. He called upon workers to pull up the BRS government regarding this.
He said the BRS government has been diverting funds that came via the cess imposed on construction companies instead of spending it on workers.
AICC Secretary Mansoor Ali Khan, TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yashki Goud and others attended the programme.
