‘KCR is combination of CBN & YSR’

Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that KCR is a combination of Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajashekar Reddy. He was speaking after opening the CREDAI building.

“Chandrababu was for IT, was pro-business and had a pro-urban image. He liked to be called the CEO of the state than the CM. But YS Rajashekar Reddy had a pro-agriculture, pro-farmer, pro-rural image. But KCR’s government is a combination of both pro-rural and pro-urban inclusive growth,” KTR said.

He said the development seen so far is just a trailer and the full picture is yet to come.

“Don’t take this growth for granted. Two national parties are competing against us. They cannot take decisions independently. Here the CM is the final authority, party president and government boss. Can the CMs of other parties do it? They have to ask New Delhi. They will ask for an appointment, ask for ‘suitcases,’ and won’t accept everything. Think about this,” KTR said

He said that one of his friends had told him that he had talked to a cab driver and to a businessman, that is, people from two different social strata. They said the BRS government is doing well. He said that the BRS would establish its dominance in other States as well as play a significant role in national politics.

“So if we won 63 seats in the first election, we won 88 in 2018. We have the confidence that we will win 95 to 100 seats in the 2023 elections,” he said.

“We will show that not only Gujarat leaders can call the shots but the BRS can also play a crucial role in national politics,” KTR said.

He said that everyone under rates one’s own possessions and added that only those who are in Hyderabad and Telangana do not understand the development here.

“Our growth story can be understood only if they take a step back. If you go to states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat or any other state and stay there for 10 days you will understand the greatness of our state. It’s like Ghar ki Murgi Dal Barabar.”
