The Brahmin Sadan, which is being beautifully renovated, will be inaugurated on May 31 by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The Brahmin Parishad will finalise the starting time at its meeting on May 17.
The Parishad elders will also discuss who should be invited to the opening ceremony. There is a possibility of inviting six more headships including Sringeri, Pushpagiri and Hampi Peetam seers.
Construction of a Brahmin Sadan was taken up with all other facilities and amenities along with rooms for the presiding officers and other guests, and dining facilities.
The construction of a Kalyana Mantapam with a capacity of 600 people for conducting weddings, upanayanas and other auspicious functions was also taken up.
