BRS supremo K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that there is no need to respond to the campaign about BRS’s internal matters, it is learnt.
He asked BRS Working President KT Rama Rao to focus on strengthening the party, and asked him to prepare an action plan. He also said that there is no need to respond hastily to differences in the party.
BRS Working President KTR had a long meeting with KCR at the Erravalli farmhouse on Sunday.
Both father and son discussed the political developments taking place in the state after the party’s Formation Day meeting held at Elkathurthi on April 27, and the way the BRS is responding to them.
It is learnt that KCR directed KTR on programmes to be undertaken by the party in the coming days, like the membership registration drive in the second week of June and the schedule regarding the formation of committees, etc.
KTR discussed with KCR the campaign regarding internal differences in the party. However, KCR ordered to convene a party meeting soon and gave guidelines regarding membership registration.
KCR inquired about the technical arrangements being made for digital membership registration and details of the app being developed. KTR will leave Hyderabad on May 28 to attend the party’s silver jubilee meeting being held in Dallas on June 1. Both discussed the issues to be addressed at the Dallas meeting. KCR directed that meetings must be held with Telangana NRIs after the Dallas function.
Both decided to hold Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 2 at the Telangana Bhavan and to hand over the responsibility of unfurling the national flag to the leader of the opposition in the Council, Madhusudana Chari.
