BJP Telangana President G. Kishan Reddy said that senior politician Ponnala Laxmaiah quitting the Congress and joining the BRS is nothing but jumping from the frying pan into fire as it is certain that the BRS will be defeated soon in elections.
Addressing the Rythu Sadassu organised by the BJP on Saturday at the Exhibition Grounds, Kishan said that KCR’s only aim is to make his son KT Rama Rao the Chief Minister.
”KCR is not sincere about the development of Telangana. He is going to spend thousands of crores to make KTR the CM. The KCR family is stealing the funds the Centre is giving for Telangana. KCR completed the Kaleshwaram Project only after the Centre gave him a loan. The Modi government funded 11 TS projects. KCR does not like the linking of Godavari and Krishna rivers. He fears that contractors would not be able to pay thousands of crores as commission if the link is constructed. KCR’s family turned projects into ATMs. The Chevella–Pranahita project’s design and name were changed. The Kaleshwaram project’s electricity bills and maintenance costs will fall on the public. Crop insurance has been implemented everywhere except Telangana. The BJP would insure crops. The Modi government’s aim is to double the income of all farmers,” Kishan said.
He said that KCR is claiming that he is earning Rs 1 crore per acre in an attempt to whiten his black money.
