AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge is visiting Telangana on August 18. Kharge’s Telangana tour will be part of his tours to states facing Assembly elections. The party high command informed about Kharge’s tours to Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. Kharge will tour these states after the current Parliament session.
Meanwhile, the Congress high command has completed reviews of these states. Kharge held detailed discussions about election strategies, the campaign style to be adopted and other issues in these states.
The Congress may organise a public meeting so that Kharge can address it as the party has already announced that it will conduct many meetings in the coming days.
