Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy said that youth must work for the nation in a manner that they can feel proud of it. Addressing the ‘7th Rojgar Mela’ programme on Saturday at Rail Kalarang, Secunderabad Bhoiguda, Kishan handed over appointment letters to 176 candidates who got jobs in 10 departments like IT, banking, India Post and others.
He said that the Centre handed over appointment letters to around five lakh youth through Rojgar Melas. Kishan said that this is the first time that the government has taken up the filling of jobs in a big way after the nation attained freedom.
He said that Modi launched the Rojgar Mela on October 22, 2022, as a Diwali gift and extended skill development courses to 1.25 crore youth.
He said that crores of jobs are getting ready not only in the government sector but also in the private sector.
Kishan warned the presidents of State BJP morchas at a meeting held at the State BJP office here that they will face the axe if they failed to launch protests against the anti-people policies of the BRS government.
