Senior BRS leader Dr Dasoju Sravan criticised Union Minister Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy for turning a blind eye towards the unprecedented development of Telangana under K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership.
Likening Kishan to Kumbhakarna, Dr Dasoju censured Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister for Development of Northeastern Region, for indulging in cheap politics in Telangana, while Manipur is burning. Coming down heavily on Kishan for mudslinging at the KCR government, Dr Dasoju said that BJP does not have any moral right to speak about BRS rule.
He trashed the baseless allegations made by Kishan in an open letter against the KCR government with facts and figures at a press conference held at the Telangana Bhavan on Saturday.
“It is extremely concerning that Telangana BJP President Kishan Reddy who is also the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region is indulging in cheap politics in Telangana, while Manipur is burning. The entire nation is worried about the violence and the sexual abuse of women in Manipur, but Kishan is busy enacting cheap dramas in Telangana. Instead of attending to Manipur, Kishan has written an open letter against the BRS government with baseless allegations. It seems like, in the case of Manipur, Kishan is in deep slumber like Kumbhakarna even in the case of the development achieved by Telangana under KCR’s rule,” said Dr Dasoju.
