Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy released a short film on environmental impact made 15-year-old filmmaker Spoorthi Thea Vedula for Swachh Bharat Diwas on Wednesday.
The film, titled ‘Tomorrow will not take care of itself,” raises awareness about the effects of human actions on the environment.
Spoorthi, a student at Chirec International School, uses her passion for environmental support to send a strong message about the urgent need for conservation.
Spoorthi said that she was deeply inspired by the Swachh Bharat Mission, the nation-wide campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She also said that this mission’s focus on cleanliness and protecting natural resources left a lasting impression on her from a young age.
Through this film, Spoorthi said that she aims to show how small harmful actions can lead to serious consequences for the environment and people.
She hopes her work will inspire others to take responsibility and make changes to protect the planet.
