The Koheda Market is coming up with all facilities, according to Minister for Agriculture S Niranjan Reddy here on Wednesday.
He said that the market was being up at a cost of Rs 403 crore on 199 crore. Sheds are being built on 48.17 acres. Shops will also come up for commission agents, he said.
The cold storage facility would be built in 16.50 acres and the fruit export zone in 11.76 acres. Internal roads are laid in 56.54 acres, he said.
Niranjan Reddy held a review meeting with the officials on the progress of construction of the market. Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Agriculture Department Secretary Raghunandan Rao, Akbaruddin Owaisi, Marketing Director Lakshmi Bai and others were present.
