The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party leaders have been making unfounded allegations against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, said Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. He spoke to the media after performing special prayers at Sri Yadagiri Gutta Lakshminarasimha Swamy on Sunday.
He, along with Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Government Whip and Alair MLA Beerlaiya, and Bhuvanagiri MP Ch Kiran Kumar Reddy, visited the temple.
The Minister remarked, “the BRS party is in a state of disarray, and opposition leaders seem unable to identify their own roles.” He said several MLAs and municipal chairpersons quit the the party.
He alleged that BRS working president KT Rama Rao had run up debts of Rs 7 lakh crores during his tenure as Minister for Municipal Administration over a decade. He claimed that Rs 2 lakh crores had been misappropriated.
He also said that the Kaleshwaram project was a scam and stated that the Medigadda project is in disrepair.
Furthermore, he alleged that KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao are working together to prevent police officer Prabhakar Rao, who allegedly tapped the phones of opposition leaders and others when the BRS was in power, from returning to India from the US to testify in the phone tapping case. “If Prabhakar Rao comes back, they will go to jail.
The BRS party is effectively closing down, yet they continue to level accusations against our Chief Minister,” he stated.
