Komatireddy directs officials to demolish BRS office in Nalgonda

Minister for Roads and Buildings Komtireddy Venkat Reddy has directed officials to pull down the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office. He said the party office was built on government land without necessary approvals.
It may be recalled that in the changing political landscape, the BRS is in for shock time and again.
Revanth Reddy government is getting tough with the BRS. It may stir up a hornet’s nest. The Minister issued the orders to the officials after laying foundation stone for electricity sub-station in Nalgonda.
He was taking part as the chief guest in the oath-taking ceremony of Kumbham Srinivas Reddy who was elected chairman of Nalgonda DCCB.
While speaking at the meeting, he directed the officials to pull down the BRS party office.
The party office was allegedly built on government land worth Rs 2 crore. The municipal commissioner said that two notices had been served on the BRS leadership in this regard.
He declared that the state government would at one go waive crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh by August 15. The quantum of total loan to be waived was Rs 32,000 crore.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has already directed the officials to take measures for waiving farm loans.
He said that the government has been saving every paisa to extend assistance to farmers. The Congress is committed to the welfare of farmers.

‘Nalgonda will be developed on par with Hyd’
Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has vowed to work for development of Nalgonda district.
On Monday, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 33/11 KV sub-station to be constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore at Beet Market Colony in the heart of Nalgonda district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the sub-station would help overcome voltage problem being faced by 15,000 families and directed the contractor and engineers to complete the construction work of the sub-station within two months. Along with quality cable, fencing should be erected and a 24-hour security guard should be posted. Nalgonda district would  be developed on a par with Hyderabad.
He recalled that In 2004 underground drainage was built and cement roads were laid in Nalgonda.
He said Rs 200 crore has been allocated for provision of drinking water to the newly merged villages of Nalgonda municipality and a Nilgiri Cultural Centre is being constructed in the town at a cost of Rs 90 crore. If land is provided, another sub-station will be constructed in the city.
Apart from the T-Hub, one more Skill Development Centre is under construction at the Collectorate. The officials of the Electricity Department have been directed to prepare proposals for three more electricity substations in the town in the coming days without any hassles.
Besides, Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of a 10 MLD water tank and Rs 700 crore for the construction of an outer ring road to overcome the drinking water problem in Nalgonda town. A multipurpose hostel with all facilities would be built at SLBC Colony, he said. He directed the officials to protect the properties of the government.
He said that he will help in starting new courses in UG and PG and BTech in Mahatma Gandhi University
They demanded removal of all illegal constructions on government land.
He said that Nalgonda town would be made a model and all the substations would be completed within six months to solve the problem of low voltage.
