Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy inspected the construction of the Bottuguda High School, being developed by the Prateek Foundation with an investment of Rs3 crore. The Minister said that this school would differently uniquely designed unlike any other government or private schools in the state.
During his visit on Thursday, the Minister reviewed the ongoing construction work which includes the completion of the basement pillar work. He provided guidance to the contractor and the school headmaster, stressing the need to ensure that the school is developed to outclass the corporate schools.
The school will have digital classrooms, with digital TVs in every classroom. Special digital classes will be available for students in grades 9 and 10, along with training programmes. Furthermore, the minister announced that spoken English classes, sports facilities, and other amenities will be integrated into the school.
To cater to the needs of 10th grade students, additional classes will be conducted. The Minister directed that all classrooms should be equipped with air-conditioning and a lift for students, and that construction should maintain high standards in areas such as parking, modern tiling, flooring, and electrical lighting.
He also mentioned the importance of planning for future expansions, allowing for the possibility of an additional floor if necessary. The Minister instructed officials and contractors to ensure that all necessary facilities are included in the school design.
Present during the inspection were Nalgonda Municipal Chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy, former ZPTC Lakshmayya, and Gummala Mohan Reddy, among others.
