Terming Endowment Minister Konda Surekha as ‘fire,’ Congress former MLA T. Jagga Reddy said that Surekha won’t trouble anyone if they have not troubled her.
“BRS social media activists troubled her and so she reacted fiercely. Why did BRS Working President KT Rama Rao trouble Surekha,” Jagga Reddy asked.
“KTR made Konda Surekha criticise him by provoking her. The BRS social media projected Surekha the wrong way. KTR should have controlled his social media team. Konda Surekha is in pain now. She is fire, why did the BRS provoke her? Do you think that all those who garlanded KCR, KTR and Harish Rao are the same? Is presenting garlands wrong? Congress has never done that. Do you think the same if someone garlands the wives of KTR and Harish? KTR is speaking as a leader without political perfection. You have allowed Konda Surekha to criticise. By apologising to Konda Surekha, the BRS must end this controversy now,” Jagga Reddy said.
He said that KTR’s comments against Surekha were like rubbing salt into wounds and so she reacted strongly on Wednesday. Nothing wrong with Surekha’s comments, Jagga said.
Taking serious exception to KTR criticising Rahul Gandhi, Jagga asked KTR not to think that Rahul Gandhi’s family is like the Kalvakuntla family. The Gandhi family has a ‘history’ of donating their Anand Bhavan to the nation. KCR became the CM and KTR became Minister just because Sonia Gandhi gave a separate Telangana state, Jagga pointed out. He asked KTR to reveal whether Rahul Gandhi is surviving on the money that comes from the Musi beautification project.
Jagga Reddy said that some government officials are dancing to the tunes of BRS leaders as they have not yet severed their friendship with BRS leaders. Those officials may bring a bad name to the Congress government with their over-enthusiasm.
Reacting to a question, Jagga said that RS Praveen Kumar is a sincere officer but not a leader.
Criticising the BJP for staging a dharna in the name of farmers, Jagga asked the BJP to reveal whether it had fulfilled its assurances like depositing Rs 15 lakh in the accounts of the poor after bringing black money from other nations.
He said the Congress doesn’t know how to enact dramas like the BJP. “Congress leaders act practically. Cinema artists act in films with makeup. But BJP leaders are artists who act without makeup. Congress is a reality but BJP is false” Jagga said.
