MP Kesineni Sivanath to hold talks with SEC
MP Kesineni Sivanath, also known as Chinni, has announced that chairperson elections for the Kondapalli and Nandigama municipalities will be held soon. He emphasised the urgency of these elections, noting that the development of these municipalities is contingent upon the passing of necessary resolutions, which will be facilitated by electing new chairpersons.
MP Kesineni Chinni visited the office of Nandigama MLA Tangirala Sowmya, along with TDP NTR district president Nettem Raghuram and Jaggayyapeta MLA Sriram Rajagopal, also known as Tataiah, at Nandigama on Monday. He talked to the party’s local leaders and cadres regarding their problems and received petitions from them.
Addressing the media, MP Kesineni Sivanath said that as chairperson election has not been conducted for the Kondapalli municipality, the development of Kondapalli and Ibrahimpatnam is stalled. Also, the Nandigama Municipal Chairperson post is lying vacant, he said.
He plans to discuss the matter with the State Election Commissioner (SEC). The candidate selection will be conducted in the presence of the respective MLAs, he added.
Meanwhile, he stated that institutionally, TDP is strong and as per the party directions, all leaders and cadres should work together. He assured the leaders that the TDP will offer nominated posts to those who worked hard for the development of the party.
He mentioned the drinking water problem in Nandigama, and for that, the Vedadri Lift Irrigation Scheme will be made available. Alongside MLAs Tangirala Sowmya and Sriram Rajagopal, he will visit the Vedadri scheme soon, he added.
Later, MP Chinni said that the State government is set to conduct the National Games in the coming days. The government is keen on providing proper coaching to talented athletes to prepare them for international events. Similarly, he vowed for the development of cricket in the State.
TDP Kanchikacherla mandal president Koganti Babu, party leaders Kota Veera Babu, Yechuri Ramu, Veeranki Veera Swamy, and others were present.
