The Minister for Mines & Geology and Excise, Kollu Ravindra, has revealed that the State government is preparing plans to develop the Koneru Centre in the Private Public Partnership (PPP) mode.
In view of Krishna district in-charge Minister Vasamsetti Subhash’s tour to the district, Minister Ravindra and APSRTC Chairman Konakalla Narayana addressed the media at the party office in Machilipatnam on Sunday. On Monday, Minister Subhash, Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashoury, Minister Ravindra, and APSRTC Chairman Narayana will launch the pothole-free-road programme estimated to cost Rs.3 crore.
Ravindra claimed that there will be no potholed roads in the State in the next five years. The State government has taken up a prestigious programme, aiming to make the roads across the State pothole-free, and all the works are planned to be completed by Sankranti.
Also, he said the TDP-led NDA government is accountable to the public and it was proved within four months of the government being formed. The State government aims to develop the State transparently and fulfil all assurances given before the elections, he said.
The State government aims to complete the Machilipatnam Port by 2025. On the other hand, the fishing harbor development works will be completed within the stipulated time. He made it clear that his government is committed to fulfilling all promises made during the election campaign.
He said none of the States in the country is distributing Rs.4,000 per month as pension and disbursing it on the first of every month. As part of the Super Six schemes, his government launched the three free-gas-cylinder programme on Diwali. He added that the State government sanctioned Rs.30 crore for the development of Machilipatnam.
