Director Krish, who was initially supposed to direct Hari Hara Veera Mallu, exited the project midway due to some personal and professional issues. He then began work on the film Ghaati with Anushka Shetty, which has now been completed. The film is currently in post-production and the release date may be announced soon.
Once Ghaati is released, Krish is expected to work again with Nandamuri Balakrishna, according to a source. The director has previously worked with Balakrishna on two films: the historical epic Gautamiputra Satakarni and the NTRbiopic, based on Balakrishna’s father.
Balakrishna has always appreciated Krish Jagarlamudi’s work and when Krish recently approached him with a subject, the actor expressed his interest in doing the project. According to sources, it will be a fantasy backdrop film.

Some reports suggest that Balakrishna wants Krish to helm the prestigious project Aditya 999, a sequel to the 1990 classic Aditya 369. Balakrishna has expressed his interest in doing this film at several events. Initially, reports suggested that Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna might headline the sequel, but the idea was later dropped and Balakrishna decided to act in it himself. More clarity about the Krish-Balakrishna project is expected in the coming days.
