Minister for Mines & Geology and Excise, Kollu Ravindra, inaugurated Krishna Tarang-2024, the Krishna University Inter-Collegiate Youth Festival, at KBN College, Kothapeta, on Tuesday. The vibrant three-day festival, concluding on December 12, is a platform for youth to showcase their talent and creativity.
The festival promises to be an enriching experience, blending cultural activities, competitions, and opportunities for personal growth, fostering enthusiasm and camaraderie among participants.
In his address, Minister Ravindra lauded Krishna University officials for consistently organising this annual festival. He emphasised the importance of such events in nurturing young talent and encouraging self-expression. Ravindra urged students to seize the opportunity to exhibit their abilities and contribute to the cultural and intellectual growth of the State.
Highlighting government initiatives, Ravindra spoke about Skill Census, a programme designed to enhance employment opportunities by registering youth and offering skill training aligned with industry needs. He also underscored the State’s commitment to technological advancement, particularly in Artificial Intelligence, and its ambitious Swarnandhra@2047 vision to position Andhra Pradesh as a development leader by 2047.
