IT Minister KT Ramarao has intensified his Twitter war against the BJP-led Centre.
On Sunday, KTR tweeted addressing BJP leaders and said that they did not even have the guts to mention the Adani scam and the Hindenburg report, but were getting angry over the comments made by billionaire George Soros asking Prime Minister Modi to answer about Adani’s scams.
KTR tweeted, “Not gutsy enough to even mention the #AdaniScam or the #HindenburgReport but so eager to defend their Master when it comes to #GeorgeSoros & his inane comments. What pitiable & intellectually bankrupt folks these are!… Guess who I am referring to?”. KTR attached English famous writer Samuel Johnson’s quote “Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel.”
KTR also tweeted on the Bayyaram Steel Factory issue. KTR tweeted “Bayyaram was sacrificed for Adani! Another injustice done to Telangana by the BJP government to benefit their own people has been exposed.”KTR made this tweet by attaching the BRS tweet.KTR also attached clippings and videos related to the Bayyaram steel factory issue.
The BRS had tweeted, “As promised in the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganization Act, it has become clear why the Centre, which was supposed to set up a steel plant in Khammam district’s Bayyaram, refused to set up the plant citing excuses.”The BRS tweeted, “Prime Minister Modi has done great injustice to four crore people of Telangana to help his close friend.”
However, BRS leaders said that the real reason is the Centre not setting up Steel factory at Bayyaram is that it handed over the Bailadila iron ore mines to the Adani Group. Moreover, the Centre has given permission to transport the Bailadila iron ore to Mundra port in Gujarat.
The Centre allowed the transport of the Bailadila iron ore to Mundra port 1,800 km away. It also allowed to transport the Bailadila iron ore to Visakhapatnam steel factory which is 500 km away from but it is not allowing it to transport the Bailadila iron ore to Bayyaram 180 km away.The Centre has been discriminating against Telangana to help Adani, the BRS leaders said.
