BRS Working President KT Rama Rao held a meeting with prominent BC leaders to discuss the Congress government’s ‘neglect’ of Backward Classes.
The meeting, held at the residence of MLC Shambipur Raju, focused on the Congress’s failure to implement promises made to BCs and the need for a grassroots-level action plan.
During the discussion, KTR spoke about how the Congress Government had sidelined BC welfare and failed to deliver on its electoral assurances. The leaders deliberated on strategies to expose the Congress’s “betrayal” of BCs and mobilize public support against its policies. Sources indicated that the BRS may soon announce a formal action plan, particularly in the context of the upcoming BC caste census.
The meeting was attended by former ministers Jogu Ramanna and Gangula Kamalakar, Legislative Council opposition leader Madhusudhana Chari, MLC Shambipur Raju, MLAs KP Vivekananda Goud and Kaleru Venkatesh along with several other key BC leaders.
