Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that there were numerous instances of question paper leaks in BJP-ruled states and that the BJP has no moral right to question the BRS government’s commitment to the unemployed.“In the last eight years, 13 question papers leaked in Modi’s Gujarat. Does Sanjay have the guts to ask for Modi’s resignation,” asked KTR.He came down heavily on Telangana BJP President Sanjay on the TSPSC question paper leak.

Sanjay’s baseless allegations against the TS government ignoring the fact that the TSPSC is a constitutional body and that the government has only a limited role to play in it exposes the ignorance of the BJP leader, KTR said.

KTR said the BJP is trying to create unrest among the unemployed by attributing the offence committed by an individual to the TSPSC. He reminded that it was Sanjay who appealed to the youth to leave jobs, stop preparing for exams and campaign for the BJP.

“When any issue happens, how the government reacts is important,” KTR said. He mentioned that as soon as the question paper leak came out, the government acted swiftly, set up a SIT and arrested all the suspects.

KTR said that although the incident was unfortunate, keeping in mind the future of all the eligible candidates and to ensure justice, the TSPSC cancelled the Group-1 Prelims exam.

KTR told the youth of Telangana that there is no need to worry about recruitment. He assured that the BRS government will take all kinds of measures to ensure justice for each and every unemployed youth in the State.

He added that the TRS government had already shown its commitment to the unemployed by filling up more than twice the number of jobs promised.

The Telangana government has introduced a new zonal system unlike anywhere else in the country to ensure that 95 per cent of the jobs went to the youth of Telangana, which is proof of the government’s commitment towards youth, he remarked.

KTR said that Sanjay resorted to a similar baseless personal allegation earlier regarding Intermediate examinations without having minimum awareness about the functioning of government departments.

He warned that Sanjay would have to face criminal cases in future for his political conspiracies and asked the BJP to stop politicising the issue for petty gains.
