BRS legislator Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gandra Jyoti Reddy on Thursday urged Minister for Municipal Administration to release funds for restoration of roads, buildings, tanks and electricity supply in flood-hit areas.
They met KTR at Metro Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday and explained to him the flood damage in Bhupalapally constituency.
They sought the Minister’s help to the people in Moranchapalli village, which bore the brunt of the flood.
They thanked the Minister for taking measures to create new village panchayats in the constituency and explained to him the developmental works underway in Bhupalapally Municipality.
They brought to his notice the accelerated land acquisition for the ORR works in tune with the promise made by KTR to the people.
The loan waiver and merger of the TSRTC with the State government were welcomed by the people.
They invited KTR along with his family members for the installation of idols at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in the town to be held on September 8.
