Lashing out at IT Minister KT Ramarao for criticising AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that KTR would have been begging at Nampally Dargah if Sonia Gandhi had not given Telangana State.
He said that KTR has no connection with Telangana and that KTR is just enjoying the status of being Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s son. KTR’s sins will be cleared only if he touches the feet of Priyanka Gandhi, who is from a family which has made many sacrifices, he said.
Speaking to the media on Saturday after filing a complaint with the Jubilee Hills Police Station on Sunday against Manikanta Rathod, the BJP candidate in Chittapur, for issuing threatening statements against AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Revanth said that people would pull down KTR if he speaks as he liked.
He said that KCR and KTR have connections with the Godse party.
“Should we conduct a study on the 3,000 liquor shops and 60,000 belt shops in Telangana? Or a study on the agony of farmers who did not get compensation after losing crops? Should we conduct a study on the suicides of 25 Intermediate students or on TSPSC leaks?” Revanth asked.
He asked KTR to apologise to Priyanka for deceiving the people of Telangana by bringing in hired crowds from neighbouring states.
The people of Telangana will consider the Kalvakuntla family as human beings only if they give up politics, he said.
