Principal Secretary of the State Industries and Commerce Department, N. Yuvaraj, inspected lands earmarked for setting up Ramayapatnam port-based industries at Alagayapalem village on Friday.
Accompanied by District Collector O. Anand, Yuvaraj examined agricultural lands at Alagayapalem village and the irrigation tank at Karedu village. He sought details from officials on whether the irrigation tank was filled with project water or rainwater.
He also inspected agricultural lands in Thatichetlapalem and Inamadugu villages for potential industrial development.
During the visit, he discussed with the Collector the lands already allocated for various industries.
Later, Yuvaraj visited Ramayapatnam Port, where he inspected the Indosole Solar Energy plant and interacted with company representatives.
Maritime Board CEO Praveen Aditya, Kandukur Sub-Collector Thirumani Sri Pooja, Kavali RDO Vamsi Krishna, Ramayapatnam Rajasekhar, tehsildars, and other officials were present during the inspection.
