BJP leader Lanka Dinakar vehemently objected to issuing a GO by the AP government prohibiting the holding of road shows and meetings on public places and roads.
In a statement here on Tuesday, the BJP leader said if Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government in Andhra Pradesh is unable to perform the governance, it is better to quit.
He said that Law and Order is the responsibility of the state government and it should provide adequate security for public meetings and Road-shows.
He said that Union Home Affairs Minister Amith Shah is coming to Rayalaseema on January 8th to participate in the Pravas Yojana programme. It is unfortunate to issue this kind of undemocratic order to the government of Andhra Pradesh.
