Laser show on Hussain Sagar from today

Union Minister Kishan Reddy will launch a laser-based sound and light show and a musical fountain with state-of-the-art technology on the waves of Hussain Sagar on Tuesday at 5 pm.
In this show, there will be a story about the world’s most attractive diamond ‘Kohinoor’. It is known that Kohinoor diamond was found in Telangana.
The story of Kohinoor, which started from Telangana and its journey across different cultures and continents will be narrated on the water screen in colorful laser light. This story was written by SS Kanchi, a noted writer, under the supervision of Rajya Sabha MP and film writer Vijayendra Prasad. Popular playback singer M Sunitha provided the vocals and popular music director Vandemataram Srinivas provided the music.
There are sound and light shows in different parts of the country explaining the historical significance of the place. But, this is the first time in the country’s history that a laser-based sound and light show has been set up on the ripples of the Hussain Sagar. Along with the story of Kohinoor, this show has been designed reflecting the story of Telangana.
Apart from this, there are proper signages (indications) and seating arrangements for 1,000 people to sit for the tourists coming to this laser show.
A gallery with all the facilities has been set up for this purpose which will be launched by the Union Minister. State Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and other officials will participate in this programme.
