BRS President Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar said that Telangana has developed in all fields as a Kisan Sarkar came to power in Telangana.
KCR refuted the arguments of the BJP and others of Maharashtra that if the Telangana Model is introduced in Maharashtra it will go bankrupt. He said that if the Telangana model Kisan Sarkar is established under the leadership of the BRS in Maharashtra it will not be the farmers who will go bankrupt, but the leaders of the political parties there. Many prominent people joined the BRS on Wednesday. Vithal Jadhav, a famous retired IPS officer from Maharashtra who served as an IG joined the BRS. Surekha Punekar, a famous dancer from the Maharashtra film industry also joined the BRS.
Along with social activist Shekhar Ambekar, Umakant Mangrule, district presidents and village sarpanches of Aam Aadmi Party from Latur and Osmanabad districts, many senior politicians from the BJP joined the party.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR called upon farmers to form their own government so that farmers do not have to fight on the road. “Why should the farmers of this country vote for other parties? All that the farmers of this country have to do is to elect their own government,” he said.
KCR said that in Telangana, the two crore tonnes of rice produced in the state will be set up. He made it clear that the same policy will be implemented as soon as a BRS government is formed in Maharashtra.
He reiterated that 24-hour, free uninterrupted quality electricity will be provided to the farmers of Maharashtra in two years.
