Living standards improved under YSRC Govt: Jogi Inaugurates various development works

State Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh has stated that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government improved the economic conditions and the living standards of the people compared to the previous government. On Wednesday, he inaugurated the various development works completed in Kanchadam village of Bantumilli Mandal along with Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashauri.

Speaking at a meeting organized on this occasion, the minister said that funds of Rs 4.89 crore had been spent for the construction of village secretariat, Rythu Bharosa Kendra, YSR Wellness Center, Community Hall and construction of CC roads. An amount of Rs 15 crore was provided to the village through direct cash transfer. Similarly, funds have been spent for the construction of BT road from Kanchadam to Kothur worth Rs 1.1 crore

Vallabhaneni Balashauri said that when the villagers told him that there was a drinking water problem, Rs 15 lakh was spent to solve it. Similarly, Rs 9 lakh was spent for CC roads in the village. The MP has promised to sanction another Rs 10 lakh for the construction of CC roads along with silting of the pond in the village.

He said that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had almost fulfilled all the promises made during his padayatra and that he was always ready to solve the problems of the people. The MP told the villagers that they were working to establish a bank soon so that financial transactions can be conducted in the village itself.
