Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh has dared former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to prove his allegation that land was allotted to URSA Company for 99 paise per acre. Speaking at Mahanadu in Kadapa, Lokesh said he would resign if Jagan could prove it.
He clarified that land was given to TCS for 99 paise as part of a policy to attract top IT firms and accused the previous YSRCP regime of driving away industries. Lokesh said the liquor scam probe is transparent and criticised Jagan for “spreading lies even after losing power.”
On party matters, Lokesh said a working group would be formed from mandal to national level to strengthen TDP. He added that justice to all workers takes time, but many have been given roles.
