Lokesh’s ‘Praja Darbar’ draws strong public response

Minister for IT, Education, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh’s Praja Darbar programme is garnering increasingly positive feedback from the public, with many coming forward with their grievances. Initially restricted to the Mangalagiri constituency, the programme has quickly attracted people from across Andhra Pradesh, who are now submitting their concerns at his Undavalli residence. On Tuesday, differently-abled individuals, women, and patients presented their issues and requested resolutions. Minister Lokesh engaged with them, forwarded the complaints to the relevant departments, and assured prompt action.
Additionally, another grievances session took place at the Telugu Desam headquarters on Tuesday, drawing attendees from across the State. Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy and TDP National general secretary Kambhampati Rammohan Rao were present to receive the public petitions.
Chinna Yallaiah from Battuvaripalli in Darsi Mandal, Chandalur Gram Panchayat, expressed frustration over not receiving bills for work done in 2019 under the ‘Neeru Chettu’ scheme and requested the release of these pending bills. RTC outsourcing employees, feeling overlooked by the previous government, asked the current administration for job security and justice. Minister for Transport, Ramprasad Reddy, promised to address their pay scale concerns.
Villagers from Ghantasala Mandal in Krishna District requested the restoration of a bus service discontinued by the previous government, citing difficulties in travelling from Vijayawada to Ghantasala at night and accessing hospitals. Turaka Chinnababu, a blind resident of Sangam Mandal, Nellore District, reported that his disability pension was halted by the previous government and sought its reinstatement, citing his 100% disability certificate.
Nattala Sivamma from Panyam Constituency complained about encroachment on her 2.28 acres of land and requested its recovery. Minister Ramprasad Reddy promptly contacted officials from that constituency to address the issue. The parents of Purna Sai, a resident of Pedda Elamilli in Eluru District’s Unguturu Constituency, sought assistance for their son, who is suffering from liver problems. They appealed for urgent support for his operation, and the minister assured them of help.
