Ivana, who began her journey as a child artiste and later gained recognition for her lead roles, rose to fame with the success of Love Today. Now, she is making her Telugu debut opposite Sree Vishnu in Single. “I am learning Telugu slowly and practiced it on the sets with help,” she shared. She plays Harini, a dancer, in the film. “I had earlier learned Bharatanatyam, but once I knew I’d play a dancer, I went back to classes for practice,” she said.
Ivana revealed that while she didn’t take acting seriously before, Love Today changed her perspective. “I’m now serious about acting, though I’m also completing my Master’s degree,” she added. When asked about dream roles or genres, she responded, “Nothing in particular. I want to play real-life characters.”
Directed by Caarthik Raju, the film gave Ivana comfort as he also speaks Tamil. Talking about her co-star Sree Vishnu, she said, “He’s an introvert. But when Vennela Kishore is on set, he becomes hilarious. In fact, Sree Vishnu even wrote some of my dialogues.”
She concluded by saying she has signed another Telugu and Tamil film each.
