Low pressure over South Andaman Sea likely

As a consequence of this weather phenomenon, a low pressure area is anticipated to develop over the South Andaman Sea and the adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around November 27, as per the latest update from the Meteorological Centre on Saturday. The forecast suggests that these low-pressure areas may progress in a west-northwest direction, intensifying into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal around November 29.
In the next 24 hours, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are expected at isolated locations in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.
Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is forecasted at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema over the next seven days. Notably, heavy rainfall has been reported at a few locations in the SPSR Nellore district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours.
Recent weather observations indicate rainfall at a few locations in Rayalaseema, one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, with dry weather prevailing during the same period. The Northeast monsoon has maintained normal conditions over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The lowest minimum temperature, recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, was noted at Arogyavaram in Rayalaseema during the intervening nights of Friday and Saturday, according to the latest weather report.
