Must read

Along with Samantha’s recent flick Yashoda, there was another film that hit the theaters on November 11. Sreeram Nimmala and Richa Joshi starrer Madhi, a youthful love drama was also released on the same day. The film was directed by Naga Dhanush and is presented by RV Reddy. The film was produced by Ram Kishan, while the music director was PVR Raja.

The film starts as any other regular love story between Abhi (played by Sreeram Nimmala), and Madhu (played by Richa Joshi). Abhi and Madhu have known each other from their childhood. However, their parents do not approve of their relationship, due to caste issues.

What’s pleasing to see in the film is the adorable chemistry between the lead pair. Sreeram Nimmala has done a good job, be it even in the emotional scenes. Meanwhile, on the other side Richa Joshi was neat in her bold role and gave her best. Her performance in tense scenes was good to see on screen. She did good acting in all key scenes. Coming to other supporting artists such as Sneha Madhuri Sharma, Srikanth Biroju and Yogi Khatri along with other artists did their part aptly.

The film has music composed by PVR Raja, which is an added advantage for the film. Not only the songs, but also the background score is a plus-plus point. The photography work done by Vijay Tagore is quite impressive, and is visible throughout the film. Editing by Pradeep Jambiga is good and registers. The production design work and production values are good for this love drama mostly shot in Vizag and Rajahmundry.

The actors have done a good job when it comes to the emotional scenes, as the emotional thread has elevated strongly in the film.

In conclusion, though Madhi has a regular love story as its plot, the film is a well-made love drama with all kinds of emotions in it.
