Harish pitches in as KTR stays away

Telangana Health Minister T. Harish Rao pitched in for Maharashtra inductions in the absence of the Chief Minister. He even travelled with KCR during the CM’s recent pilgrimage. Apart from KCR, all new inductions into the BRS are from other states and are being taken care of by Harish Rao and sometimes by Vemula Prashanth Reddy. KT Rama Rao has always stayed away from BRS Maharashtra-related activity even though he continues to be the BRS Working President.
Highly placed sources said that Harish is moving as per the CM’s instructions and has already conveyed to him that he wants to be in state politics.When asked if KTR is the BRS Working President or of Telangana the party didn’t have an answer. For now, all they say is, “We are following KCR’s instructions.”
Earlier, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha used to travel alone but she is now more focussed on her Bharat Jagruthi activities.
Meanwhile, many BJP and other party leaders and former officials from Jalgaon, Dhule and Latur districts of Maharashtra joined the BRS on Thursday in the presence of Minister T. Harish Rao. The Minister warmly invited them into the party by covering them with pink scarves.
Among those who joined the party were former deputy CM Gopinath Munde’s bodyguard, ZP member Omkar Abba Jadhav, Jalgaon ZP member Vijay Tavar, market committee chairman Vithal Nagrale, ex-Sabhapati Narayan Abba Pawar, Vinod Patil from Dhule, Sanchalak market committee members Jagannath. Bavaskar, Janata Party Latur District President Jayasingh Jadhav, Bhor Sena President Bablu Jadhav, Congress Party Vikas Banjara, BJP Tehsil Secretary Vilas Rathore, Muslim Council Tayyab Sheikh, former Commissioner Sonavne and others joined the BRS. The leaders of Maharashtra BRS attended the programme.
