Must read

Ahead of the Assembly elections in Telangana all major political parties are chanting youth. All political parties are trying to attract youth with various programmes.

The reason for this is that in the Telangana population around 40% are youth. According to statistics 40% of the population in TS is aged between 15 and 40.

After 18 years youth get the right to vote. In the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections the young are going to play a key role in deciding the fate of political parties.

In Telangana, there are around 20 lakh educated unemployed youth. The Congress, the BJP and the YSR Telangana Party have launched several programmes to attract unemployed youth and are accusing the BRS government of letting them down.

Political parties believe if they attract youth they can convince their families to vote for their party. The Congress and the BJP have launched huge programmes to attract educated unemployed youth. Both these parties are blaming the BRS government for the worsening unemployment situation in the state.

They say that due to the BRS government’s policy, the unemployed are not able to get jobs. At the same time, the ruling BRS is accusing the BJP which is in power at the Centre of increasing unemployment in the country.

While the BRS is accusing the BJP, the BJP is blaming the BRS for the unemployment in the state. The Congress is blaming both the state and the Central government for unemployment.

The Congress said that both the BRS and the BJP have failed to implement the election promise to create jobs for educated unemployed youth. The BJP is trying to turn the minds of unemployed youth against the BRS and the BRS is trying to do so against the BJP.

The Congress strongly believes that the BRS and the BJP are in power for a decade in the state and at the Centre respectively and that youth have lost confidence in both the BRS and the BJP, and they may support their party.

If any political party is able to convince youth they will join the election campaign of that party, a senior political leader said.
