Declaring that the BJP wants to kill Nehru’s ideas, the Congress’s Nagarkurnool MP, Mallu Ravi, termed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as the leader of a silent revolution.
Mallu Ravi said in Tamil Nadu, Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha are considered revolutionary leaders and similarly, Revanth Reddy should be called a ‘revolutionary leader’ in TG.
Addressing the media on Sunday at the Gandhi Bhavan along with leaders Nuthi Srikanth Goud and N. Preetham, Mallu Ravi said that Musi beautification is not possible without cleaning the river and rehabilitating the affected people.
He said that there is no need to learn lessons from the opposition. Leaders of BRS should reveal what they have done to Telangana with the loan of Rs 7 lakh crore they took. The CM is working hard for the development of Telangana, he said.
He said that the CM is determined to place Hyderabad on the world map and that for youth he established the Skill and Sports universities.
“Revanth has defended constitutional values. The BJP and the BRS want to water down constitutional rights. HYDRAA will cause temporary problems to the people but lakhs of people in Hyderabad will benefit from that, he said.
He said that the education system was weakened during BRS rule. 5,000 schools were closed in 10 years. “The government has launched the construction of integrated residential schools of international standards in 28 constituencies. The government is going to build residential schools as per world standards. The government spends Rs 150 crore for the construction of a school. Each school is going to provide education to 2,500 SC ST BC Minority EBC students,” he said.

“We are going to provide education, food and accommodation. A radical change will come about due to Young India Residential schools. The government is trying to make integrated residential schools centres of a revolution. The CM has taken the revolutionary decision that all SC ST BC and minority students should study in one place,” he said.

Asking the BRS to reveal who will use the Praja Bhavan and the secretariat built with thousands of crores, he said that public funds were wasted to provide luxurious facilities to BRS rulers.
