A man killed his wife by strangling her in his house suspecting her fidelity in Adoni town on Sunday.
Police said that Chanti and Sirisha were married in 2018. The couple has two sons and a daughter. However, the accused Chanti started suspecting her fidelity. He had been harassing her for the last few months. Their elders counselled him. Unable to digest Sirisa (23) speaking over mobile phone too often, he picked up an argument with her.
In a fit of rage, he strangled her with a towel. Later, the deceased went to One Town police station and surrendered before the police.
The police registered a case, shifted the body to the GGH for postmortem and arrested the accused.
