The internet has been buzzing ever since Manisha Rani emerged as a contestant on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 — She wants to be a stunning actress and her list goes limitless. In a very interactive session with the Instagram fame, we had our share of reactions and a bit of socializing to know how she wants to prove her prowess and what went behind the scenes of the television reality show, especially the bonds she has created. So much more, literally!
“For every small-town girl, doing Bigg Boss is one of the biggest ambitions — just to be there amongst prolific celebrities and live with them. Who would have thought so? But, in the initial days, my thought process compelled me to think it’s one of the easiest shows to do but it’s all a misconception. I saw enormous stars getting evicted in less than a week, it’s that influential a show,” shared the only quirky personality of the show.
You can admire her just like a child. Though she displayed some good manners — she turned out to be a naughty naughty girl. Hilarious! But as we all know nothing came easy to her, she’s the girl who had to fight hard to be the “chamakta sitara” in a stranger city coming from Bihar, and even more if at all she’s always known to be a small town girl, the girl who takes absolute pride in it. She continued, “As soon as I got out of the Bigg Boss house, my phone was handed over to me and my comment box was full. So full, that my apps were crashing! It’s okay for me that I couldn’t win the title, I’ll always cherish I was one of the finalists and the most unexpected one amongst the whole slot that came this year. I am going to send my fans a heartfelt love from my kidney (she laughed out loud). Hereafter, I am only going to live for my fandom and yes, I am still single.”
Something that moved her even more was how her fandom took a stand for her while she was inside! There were instances in the house when a few contestants, “I don’t wish to name them, they went against me and I hear outside that nobody believed in them. They rather believed in what they were watching on screens. My fans couldn’t even tolerate any PR videos against me, this is something new to me!”
Manisha, in the middle of the interaction realised to be famous, is something else but becoming the audience’s favourite would be her lifelong takeaway. She was told how few fans have cried watching her cry in the house, and the contestant doesn’t know how to repay all of this love. The love of fans is above commercial business, she admits! “I was never on Twitter — I couldn’t believe my eyes that I am still trending on that platform. My followers have also increased multi-folds.”
Her journey of Bigg Boss was a mix of comedy and tragedy and a lot of naughtiness. She explains, “I was unnecessarily tagged as a flirtatious girl, I didn’t romance anybody so seriously that these tags were given to me inside the house. I was the heroine of this season! I was without a phone on me, and I was amongst those who believed Bigg Boss is a scripted show but hell no, it’s not. So difficult to survive that Cyrus sir couldn’t bare the brunt and he took a voluntary exit. Scripted because how are so many dialogues, hard-hitting ones going viral coming from the contestants doing a reality show? To anticipate what’s coming up next is so difficult! It’s such a difficult show that even if you are the nicest person out there, contestants will demotivate you. There is fierce competition going on! You will lose out on your mental peace, and it’s a certainty. Another thing I loved about this show are the unique hashtags that go viral, they are cute and will remain forever.”

In fact, we were intrigued to know what was happening or let us be precise, what’s simmering between these two. Are the rumours true about the duo and etcetera? Manisha clarified that she met the family and amongst all of them Neha Kakkar is like an elder sister to her. She’s protective of Manisha. There’s also a music video coming up with Tony.
