Manohar lays stone for works worth Rs 1.30 cr

Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar laid the foundation stone for the Rs 1.30 crore worth of development works at Kollipara village in Tenali on Saturday.
The development works will be taken up with the MGNREGA funds. Speaking on the occasion, Nadendla Manohar said that the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh has launched massive development programmes across the State and improved the basic amenities in the rural areas.   In order to create infrastructure in rural areas and augment civic amenities, development works would be carried out in the villages in a phased manner. The Civil Supplies Minister said that 21.67 km of roads would be reconstructed at a cost of Rs 2.55 crore in Kollipara and Tenali mandals with the funds of MGNREGA.
As part of the programme, an 11.05 km CC road would be constructed in Kollipara mandal for which the stone was laid today, he stated.  He said that CC roads would be constructed at Annavaram, Hanumanpalem, Tummaluru, Atthoti and Siripuram villages.
