Reacting to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments regarding the installation of Rajiv Gandhi’s statue in front of the Secretariat, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao warned the CM through X terming the Chief Minister as ‘Cheap Minister.’ He also described Rajiv Gandhi’s statue as trash. “Mark my words Cheap Minister Revanth. We will clear out the trash from the premises of the Dr BR Ambedkar Secretariat the day we are back in office. Can’t expect a Delhi ghulam (slave) like you to understand the self-respect and honour of Telangana. Using foul language in front of schoolchildren exposes your uncouth upbringing. Wish you speedy healing from your mental sickness,” KTR said. Earlier in the day, KTR also posted about the Sunkishala Project saying, “As the main opposition party, we’ve been demanding a judicial inquiry into the Sunkishala incident and the blacklisting of Megha Engineering. Instead of acting against MEIL whose negligence resulted in the Sunkishala mishap, now the CM is going to reward them with the Kodangal Lift Irrigation contract worth Rs 4,350 crore! Wonder why this generosity and unconditional love for a company that he himself had labelled ‘East India Company’ and an exploiter of Telangana’s wealth?
