‘Mee Kosam’, the revamped Public Grievances Redressal System (PGRS), previously known as ‘Spandana’, was launched in NTR and Krishna districts on Monday following the change in government. The programme was conducted at Mandal, Divisional, and District levels, where officials addressed grievances submitted by the public.
In the NTR district, Dr. P Sampath Kumar, the District Collector, oversaw the ‘Mee Kosam’ at the Pingali Venkaiah Meeting Hall in Vijayawada. He received petitions from the public and promptly forwarded them to the respective departments for expedited resolution.
Dr. Sampath Kumar emphasized the importance of the state government’s initiative and urged all officials to ensure timely resolution of grievances. He stressed the need for seamless coordination among departments to achieve this goal, emphasizing adherence to government guidelines during grievance redressal.
