Minister Srinivas Goud inaugurated a Mega Job Mela with local legislator KP Vivekanand to provide jobs to around 10,000 unemployed people in 118 companies under Telangana State Society for Training and Employment Promotion.
On this occasion, V Srinivas Goud said that 18 job fairs have been organised across the state under Telangana State Society for Training and Employment Promotion. He said that Telangana state is recognised as an industrial hub today due to the industrial policies followed by the government after the formation of the state.
In every job fair held across the state, 30 to 80 companies are providing jobs to unemployed youth in various fields such as software, BPO, pharma, retail and real estate according to their qualifications.
It is said that 97,000 unemployed youth applied for TS STEP in the 18th job fair. They were identified through interviews and 30,902 people were given jobs in various organisations and given appointment documents. He said that the selected companies are offering salaries ranging from a minimum of Rs 10,000 to a maximum of Rs 80,000 per month to those who have secured jobs in various organisations.
Also, a mega job fair is going to be organised in Hyderabad soon to provide jobs to 50,000 people.
