Prof K Hema Chandra Reddy, Chairman of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has said that now, many people are suffering from mental illness, and for such people, Indla’s clinic is a good place for treatmenting such disorders. Hema Chandra Reddy inaugurated the newly established Indias Child and Guidance Clinic in Surya Rao Pet.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that some of the students today were suffering from mental problems due to many social reasons. More importantly, parents are not paying attention to their children due to their busy lives. With this, children are getting used to bad addictions.
Psychiatrists were asked to conduct conferences for students under Dr. Indla Ramasubbareddy. J Nivas, Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Department, who was the special guest, said that today’s society is plagued with psychological problems. But they do not know how to get treatment for their problems. He said that Indla’s Clinic provides good treatment for such people. Many people don’t even know they have a problem. A recent survey said that one in ten people are suffering from mental problems.
Registrar of Dr YSR University of Health Sciences Dr Radhika Reddy said that due to many conditions in the changing times, mental problems are occurring in children. She said that due to late marriage, Covid-19 and other reasons, there were many problems in children along with mental problems. She also said that the opening of a clinic to provide new psychological treatment for young children is commendable.
Eminent psychiatrist Dr. Indla Ramasubbareddy said that the child clinic had started with new changes to provide treatment for mental problems accessible to all.
Senior Paediatrician Dr R Venkateswara Rao, Psychiatrist Dr Vishal Indla, Dr. Swapna Indla, and many city doctors and celebrities were present.
