Merit certificates given to TTEs

The ticket-checking staff, Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway were presented with merit certificates at Divisional Office, Vijayawada on Tuesday. Vavilapalli Rambabu, IRTS, Sr Divisional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada Division presented the awards to ticket-checking saff. A total of six staffers from Sleeper Depot were awarded with Merit certificates for their top-notch performance in October 2022.

A special appreciation letter was presented to lady TTE for tending to the pregnant lady on the train and displaying exemplary customer care and hospitality. The staff who received merit certificates are R Srinivas, A Suresh Babu, B Mukesh Kumar, S Venkat Rao, K Seshadri, and G Jyothi.

Vavilapalli Rambabu congratulated the Ticket Checking Staff of Sleeper Depot for their impressive performance during October 2022. He said that the Merit Certificates are being awarded every month to staff to motivate them and inspire them to perform better.

He suggested the Ticket Checking Staff of Sleeper Depot Staff to improve the individual average, be vigilant, and alert, and tend to the needs of the passengers while on duty. He said that during the month of October 2022 ticket checking staff of Vijayawada Division recorded a total of 70,273 cases and Rs 4.53 crore was realised through special ticket checking drives, squad, surprise and regular inspections by the staff.
