Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday exhorted students to focus on studies.
The Minister was laying the foundation stone for the construction of an academic building, a women’s hostels versity in Nalgonda with an estimated cost of Rs 37.95 crore.
During the event, Venkat Reddy instructed the engineering officials to complete all the works as soon as possible. He advised students to study well, set great goals, and move forward with determination. He urged female students to take inspiration from the District Collector, who is a woman, and pursue their education. He emphasised that there is nothing that cannot be achieved with determination. He also mentioned that a gym would be set up at the university. The minister stated that the goal is to develop Mahatma Gandhi University on a par with Osmania University and Kakatiya University. He also highlighted that the State government prioritised education, The government is constructing integrated residential hostels with a budget of Rs 150 to 200 crore for students from all castes, with one hostel being built in each Assembly constituency.
