Min assures speedy of completion Chintalapudi Lift scheme

Minister for Housing and I & PR K Parthasarathy has assured of completing the Chintalapudi Lift scheme at the earliest to provide water for irrigation.
The Minister participated in ‘Idi Manchi Prabutwam’ programme at Pallerlamudi village in Nuzvid mandal on Wednesday. The Minister also inaugurated the Bommuluru road which was widened at a cost of Rs 23.40 crore. The Minister laid the foundation stone for construction of CC roads at Sitarampuram, Pallerlamudi and Meerjapuram village at a cost of Rs 1.70 crore on the occasion.  
Addressing a meeting on the occasion, Minister Parthasarathy said that the long pending dream of the people of the area, the completion of Chintalapudi Lift scheme, would be fulfilled and water would be provided for drinking as well as agriculture purposes soon. He reiterated that the government is giving priority to reconstruct and repair the damaged roads.
Parthasarathy criticised that the YSRCP led previous government had neglected the development of roads, and the roads were full of potholes everywhere in the state and road users faced various problems traveling on such roads.
“The transport facility and good roads will help the development of the State. The authorities have been instructed to take up the road development work and complete it quickly after the rains subside completely. The damaged roads at all the villages and urban areas of the districts will be developed expeditiously,” the Minister pledged. He lauded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for efficiently tackling the flood situation in Vijayawada.  
The YSRCP led government put the state in doldrums, he flayed and appreciated Chandrababu Naidu for putting on efforts to put the state in the Wright place.  The Minister listed out the achievements of the new government including enhancing social security pension from Rs 3000 to Rs 4000 and conducting Mega DSP to fill up teacher posts. R&B SE John Moshe, RWS DE Bhaskar Reddy and other officials among those who were present.
