State Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana emphasised the government’s commitment to swift development and public welfare during the inauguration of several key projects in Rajam town on Monday. He urged citizens to stand behind the ongoing initiatives and highlighted the administration’s focus on prompt execution and efficient governance. Minister Satyanarayana opened two Dr. YSR Urban Primary Health Centres in Adarsh Nagar and Dolapet, aiming to improve healthcare access in urban areas. Each centre represents an investment of Rs. 80 lakh. The minister also inaugurated the Sub-treasury Office building (Rs. 108 lakh) and the Rajam Bus Complex, a major project completed within six months at a cost of Rs. 16 crore.
Minister Satyanarayana emphasised the government’s policy of prioritising public welfare and ensuring prompt delivery of benefits. He announced plans for a new bus depot in Rajam, acknowledging its burgeoning status as a business hub. He urged opposition leaders to move beyond mere criticism and present tangible contributions towards public welfare. Stressing the importance of accountable governance, he warned against neglecting the needs of the people, emphasising the electorate’s ability to discern between genuine welfare endeavors and hollow promises.
MP Bellana Chandra Sekhar and MLA Kambala Jogulu appealed for continued support for the government’s multifaceted development and welfare programmes under Chief Minister Mohan Reddy’s leadership. District Collector Nagalakshmi emphasised the government’s paramount focus on healthcare, particularly in urban areas. Underlining the ongoing second phase of Jagananna Aarogya Suraksha, she outlined initiatives to enhance primary care facilities and augment healthcare services through Aarogyasri Network Hospitals and GGH in the district centre.
ZP Chairman Majji Srinivasa Rao, MLC Palavalasa Vikrant, RTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Zonal Chairman Gadala Bangaramma, YCP constituency in-charge Dr. Tale Rajesh, ZPTCs, MPPs, representatives from the Medical and Treasury Departments, RTC officials, and party leaders attended the programme.
